one of the typical shows we do here
During the load-in for Julio Iglesias at the most advanced venue I ever worked at - the Monte Carlo Sporting Complex! The pic doesnt say much, but the venue gives you a choice of consoles for FOH and Monitors, has a full L-acoustics complement for FOH and Monitors, state of the art lighting, but the real cool part of the venue is how the audience area opens up turning into an outdoor venue, and how the dancefloor raises to stage height for the stage to electronically roll out into the audience!!! Even the spotlight tower retracts into the floor when not in use, and a corridor under the venue connects the spotlight tower to backstage! Unfortunately I do not have any great pictures to document but it was a truly awesome experience!

This is the view from stage looking into the house of the Victoria Playhouse in Petrolia, Ontario. This is the venue I used to work in as the Head Theatre Technician. It was my first full-time paid tech job.
