Experience

PFIZER AUSTRALIA (JANUARY 2007 TO PRESENT)A/V & EVENTS PRODUCTION MANAGER
Ongoing contractAs the Production Manager, this position oversees and manages events, conferences, meetings, special events etc for both internal and external clients of Pfizer, with responsibility for technical requirements, planning and staging of each event.
Managing the lighting, audio and visual requirements for large and small events / conferences, meeting room operations and supporting any further needs of internal communications that require A/V.
Coordinating with appropriate departments, stakeholders and clients to assure proper scheduling & integration of designed systems against plan.
Hands-on management of sound, lighting, audiovisual systems.
Video editing and multimedia programming (Premiere Pro, Flash and After Effects)
Preparing details and drawings used for fabrication and installation of audio, video, and control systems, including further liaison and management of external service providers as required.Performing maintenance and procedures required to ensure facilities are fully usable at all times, and managing the repairs of equipment directly and Advising Pfizer on new products and technical solutions that appear on the market.
Providing leadership and direction to assigned AV technicians and appointed contractors.
Although initially starting as a self-employed contract to assist with the management of Pfizer's Learning Centre, this contract quickly expanded in responsibility and now accounts for the management of some 90% of Pfizer's internal communications product work.

VARIOUS POSITIONS (2006) - AV TECHNICAN
Undertook the following positions on a casual / contract basis:
Channel 7's Epping Studio - Contracted through Alien Light Forms to provide support on the construction of the set, light rigging and camera assistance for shows such as Home and Away, All Saints, Where are they now, and Saturday Disney
Medical Meetings provided AV technical support for various corporate meetings and events in and around the Sydney area.

JAYCAR ELECTRONICS (2002 TO 2006)STORE MANAGER Jaycar Electronics is a leading Australian electronics retail company with over 50 stores across Australia and New Zealand and supplying a vast range of electronic products.Oversaw all aspects of store operations in achieving performance objectives for sales and customer service in line with corporate budgets.Managed promotional displays and overall store appearance.Kept up to date with the latest products including the demonstration of products to customers and providing technical support to customers on product usability and compatibility.
